This Just In - Hooter's Sited in Portland!

Got back home late last night finally.

I drove to Portland from Seattle on Thursday . The company put me up at the Ramada Inn...nice room for a change. While driving to my first job on Thursday I notice a BIG sign I couldn't miss right off Highway 5 in Jantzen Beach. HOOTER'S. I figured I'd stop there after work and have dinner.

Not know exactly what to expect, I was rather suprised. Because I was in there myself I probably got special treatment.

All the girls came by, one-by-one, and sat down and ask me different things, basically to say hi and the all sign a souvenier napkin for me. Of course they all were at least young (20-25) and reasonably well endowed. In addition to the tight fitting tops, they wore bright orange tight shorts that resemble basically the shap and size of men's briefs. After taking your order, they climb up on a chair and clip the order to a clippy with rollers on a wire that extends from the front to back into the kitchen. They give it a big push and the order is on it's way. The only thing missing was roller blades or skates. None of them bend over in front of you to flaunt thier stuff so the show was all very tastefully presented.

As far as food goes, they don't have a great selection but the steak sandwich and curly fries were good. I did find out that the Portland area has 2 Hooter's...one on each side just like the girls. I wonder if that is part of thier marketing approach for other cities.

I went to Hooters once a long time ago. Three of us - mostly went there because they were open. The girls try to assert themselves a lot, I guess for a better tip. We were there to talk, so not a lot of fun for them - basically we kept telling them we didn't need anything and they would go away. We ordered the wings which weren't all that good. I'm not saying I hate Hooters, just that it probably fits a niche that isn't mine.
We don't have one in my area so I had to see what the hubbub was about. I picked up some souvenier t-shirts for the girls in the house. I can't see making it a regular habit but definately not a place to go to do some serious business.
Being a woman an all I never felt the urge to go to Hooters. lol I do miss Portland and Lincoln City. The mountains and ocean.
From the sounds of it Hooter's is the same all over. I know its that way here in Texas. We went to one last year with my boys, yes I took two teenagers to Hooter's, the food sucks, well except for the fried pickles those were good, and the girls were all very well endowed, with their little asses shaking. One actually got mad because my husband paid more attention to me than he did to her. LMAO.
They have a Hooters in Tacoma, though I've never been to the one here. The one time I went to Hooters was in Atlanta almost 10 years ago and I had a very similar experience. The hot wings were good, as I recall.
